2.  What is planking?  

The art of planking is to lay horizontally across any object, or the ground with their arms by their sides, aiming to occur  in daring situations or a brotherly display of core-strength.

3.  What is the typical turnaround time for a Request for Quote?  

Typically ProSource can perform a quote within 3-5 days.

4.  What is the capacity of ProSource? 

ProSource runs its operation using lean manufacturing within a single shift.   This allows ProSource’s capacity to be ever changing.  There is always plenty of room for growth and expansion.

5.  What is the purpose of shielding or twisted wires?

To reduce noise and/or cross talk

6.  What is RF stand for?

Radio Frequency, generally related to Coaxial assemblies

7.  Why doesn’t McDonald’s sell hotdogs?

McDonald’s CEO Ray Kroc famously prohibited the company from selling hot dogs, regardless of potential demand, as he regarded them as unhygienic in his 1977 autobiography; however, UK Stores did sell Hot Dogs during the late nineties on the McChoice menu (later PoundSaver). Also, at least one American restaurant offered Oscar Mayer hot dogs at some time, and McDonald’s locations at Toronto Metro Zoo and SkyDome in Toronto offered hot dogs until 1999. In Tokyo locations hot dogs were available in 2001

Much to the dismay of our President, the flash animation was voted off the site during tribal council.  The tribe has spoken.

17.  What is the most typical gauge range used of wire?

18-22 AWG, but ProSource has the capability to use gauges as large as 250MCM to as small as 32 AWG

27.  What is the average lead time for a production build?

ProSource uses a standard 2-3 week lead times on most assemblies.  However, there are occasions when scheduling and material lead times will make this standard vary up or down.

28.  Why do all the men of ProSource wear a beard in November?

Much to the dismay of our President, No Shave November is an annual team building exercise to build comradery.

29.  How do you find Chuck Norris?

ProSource currently operates out of a 35,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas which also serves as the corporate headquarters.  ProSource also has a remote satellite sales office in Houston, TX.
