ProSource Industries has been certified and still is certified to the ISO9001:2008 standard as well as its earlier versions. ProSource believes that a strong management system is the foundation of success. ProSource Industries recently acquired an additional certification called AS9100C for Aviation, Space and Defense. The AS9100C is an overlap of the ISO 9001:2008 standard but commands additional requirements such as, risk management, configuration management and project management.
The additional requirements of the AS9100C standard have elevated the ProSource Industries Management System to heights the organization has never seen before. Dozens of measurable objectives are in place to constantly monitor the effectiveness of a process as well as the effectiveness of the Management System. Monthly operational reviews are held with Top Management and Mike White, a member of TMAC (Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center) to drive continual improvement. Everything that is manufactured at ProSource Industries is built with the intent of the product going into an airplane, whether it is or not.
